Raiders OL Gallery to Miss Four to Six Weeks

Alameda, CA (Sports Network) – Oakland Raiders offensive lineman Robert Gallery suffered a broken bone is his left leg during Sunday’s win over the Chiefs.

Gallery will miss four to six weeks after undergoing surgery on Monday.

“Gallery had a procedure done this morning to fix the fracture, like I mentioned yesterday, which is similar to what Khalif Barnes had,” Raiders coach Tom Cable said referring to another of the team’s offensive linemen. “May not be as long, which is the good news. We will go out there and plan it, which could be somewhere between 4-6 weeks, could be sooner.”

The second overall pick of the 2004 NFL Draft has started all but one of the 76 games he’s played thus far in his Oakland career.
