Trevor Scott became the first University at Buffalo player selected in the NFL draft since 2000 when the Oakland Raiders selected the defensive end with the third pick in the sixth round (No. 169) today.

Jamey Richard became the second UB player selected when the senior center was picked in the seventh round by the Indianapolis Colts.

UB had never had two players selected in the same draft. The last Bulls player selected was wideout Drew Haddad, a seventh-round pick by the Buffalo Bills in 2000.

Elsewhere, Clymer’s Jehuu Caulcrick, a running back from Michigan State, signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Jets.
