Meetings

Steering Committee meetings are held approximately six times per year at Ricky’s Sports Theatre in San Leandro and average about 3 hours in length.  Traditionally, one meeting a year that also includes club presidents, has been held at the Raiders Facility in Alameda.  The purpose of the meetings is to plan Steering Committee events, provide a forum for sharing information between Booster Clubs and – as a sidebar – to discuss the latest team news.

Events
The Steering Committee member clubs sponsor three annual events:

*     A Draft Day Party that has been held at Ricky’s Sports Bar in San Leandro;

*     A trip to a Raiders away game which -until the Thanksgiving Day schedule came out – most fans were hoping would be to Dallas this year this year ;

*   The Annual Commitment to Excellence (CTE) Award Dinner. The 7th Annual Commitment to Excellence Dinner was held on March 6th at the Oakland Airport.

With the exception of the CTE Dinner, Steering Committee  events are open only to members of officially recognized Raiders Booster Clubs that are also paid members of the Steering Committee.
